I became an electrician back in 2011 for a pretty simple reason: I wanted to be able to take a beautiful young woman out on a date. She was a bit resistant, but eventually, I won her favor.
What started as a practical decision quickly turned into something much bigger. I discovered a trade that I excelled in—working with my hands, solving difficult problems and a desire to make my community better.
That girlfriend is now my wife, and after 13 years of marriage, she’s been one of the biggest influences in my journey. When I questioned whether to keep pushing forward, she encouraged me to stay the course. She pushed me to sharpen my skills and pursue my Master Electrician license. That encouragement led us to take a leap of faith and start our own company.
Today, MI Electrician is built on more than just technical skill—it’s built on values.
